So alone when I had peeled myself out of my shell
Longing for a shape that would free and calm me down.
But as the secretion dripped off so did the lust.
All the same! All the same with me!
As every eye piercing at me - even my own -
Slashes off a part of my totality.
I pluck out my eyes, become blind for determination
And let my thoughts create a self that does not yet appear.
All the time.
Oh, these eyes are just
Good enough to see the lack of sense
That I‘m forced to prove
All the time.
And every glimpse at life is just another blind distraction.
But all the while I just keep waiting for the next attempt
to lose this truckling pace
and oust it with a meaning,
A way to exercise my thoughts
And make the world appear
From within my skull.
But in between I‘d rather turn myself into a fish
And swim through influence
To rest this weary head.
Thoughtful eyes are bound to see
Sense that I choose at liberty.
All the time.
We follow shadows
To their source
And name this shallow
Thing its cause.
Our earthed eyes don‘t see
Root to leaf.
They leave out what we
Can‘t conceive:
That behind this nexus
Shines the sun.
When we get to the
Core of things
No word will
Help to describe
This pure existence!
How sad we can‘t
Meditate,
Lose ourselves
And become
One with this
Timeless truth!
We just follow shadows
Hoping to
Be on sunlight‘s
Speechless trace.
Tumbling on in
Solitude
In this form- and shapeless
Endless maze.
